So blessed. Saturday afternoon was hectic. Spent all morning cleaning the house and thinking about calling the plumber when I got a text from dad. "Cake and Ice Cream at your Uncle's for Granny". I thought cool, I might get a meal out of this. So anyway, I get into the car and realize I had forgotten how to get to my Uncle's house. Rush back and call mom and ask for directions who just passed the phone to my dad. Any way, I made it there safe and sound and ate fried chicken and garden salad. Later that afternoon we ate homemade cake and ice cream!! Yay!! What a nice weekend meal! Phew!
